Baby Shower

On July 2nd, Aunt Juli threw a baby shower for me and our baby girl! You might be thinking why would you have a baby shower when you're only 6 months along. Well, there were two reasons for having the shower early. First, Bob's Mom, LuAnn, and sisters, Kristin and Brianna, were in Logan, and second, we are moving at the beginning of August. I know it may sound weird, but it still seems surreal that we're having a baby, but opening gifts - diapers, wipes, blankets, onesies- made it seem more real. I had to try hard not to freak out a little. ;) I truly appreciate the gifts. The amount of things needed for a baby is overwhelming. We planned on having the shower outside, but the weather did not cooperate. Thanks, Juli for thinking of me and going to the work of putting together a shower. Also, thanks to my sister, Lindi. She designed the invitations. Isn't she super talented?! I think so. I'm nearly 26 weeks and have 14 weeks left, assuming I go to 40 weeks. I can't believe how the time flies. I hope that I'll feel better about being prepared once we're moved into our house. Thanks again to everyone who made my baby shower so great! I just wish that everyone, especially family and friends who live far away, could have joined in on all the fun. You were missed!

Side Notes - The baby is doing wonderfully. I'm definitely getting bigger, and I find it hard to believe how big I'm going to get by the end. No complaining, just pure awe at the process. Bob and I found a house and are hoping to close and move in to the house no later than August 10th which is only 4 weeks away. We've been super busy and have had a lot on our minds lately, but we're really excited for all the big changes coming our way.
