We had a fun and festive St. Patrick's weekend. First, we "Pinched" our family with a little treat of golden goodies and root beer. We made colorful meals of: rainbow pancakes, green scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon, and green spaghetti with shamrock toast, and green beans. Both accompanied by our special green holiday drink. But the most fun of all was our visit from the magical leprechauns. After reading The Legend of the Leprechauns, Addie decorated her treasure box with the hope that the leprechauns would come, fill it with goodies, and mischievously hide the box. Addie awoke Sunday morning to a treasure hunt with clues left by the leprechauns and found her filled treasure box. The girls went to church dressed in their St. Patty's best. It was a magical weekend filled with new and exciting adventures!
